What’s New in the 2025 Ford Bronco Sport—Sasquatch Package, Tech, and More

Now that it’s five years old, we think it’s safe to say that the Bronco Sport has officially found its stride amongst the Ford lineup. It represents an excellent blend of family-friendly city driving dynamics and bona fide off-road chops. Now for the 2025 model, the Bronco is getting updated in a big way. Read on to check out all the details when it goes on sale near Niceville, FL.

Introducing the Bronco Sport Sasquatch

Perhaps the biggest new addition for ’25 is the Sasquatch package, a set of purpose-built off-road features that elevated the Bronco Sport’s capability to the next level. Diehards will probably recognize the name—the Sasquatch package has been available on the large Bronco for a few years now.

The Bronco Sport Sasquatch comes with a number of features, including:

  • A twin-clutch rear-drive unit with a locking differential, which was previously only available on the Bronco Sport Badlands
  • New front and rear springs that increase suspension lift
  • Modified front and rear bumpers
  • Upgraded Bilstein rear shocks
  • A front brush guard
  • Steel skid plates
  • Auxiliary accessory switches
  • 29-inch Goodyear Territory All Terrain tires that were specifically designed for the model and feature an open tread design for maximum traction on mud and rock

Sasquatch introduces new G.O.A.T. Modes as well. The Badlands Sasquatch variety features a Rally mode that’s geared to improve handling in high-speed sand scenarios.

The Sasquatch package will be available on the 2.0-liter EcoBoost Bronco Sport Badlands and the 1.5-liter EcoBoost Bronco Sport Outer Banks.

More Adventure-Ready Than Ever

In addition to the Rally Mode in the Badlands trim, all models across the board come with a new Off-Road G.O.A.T. Mode. The Bronco Sport also borrows a feature from its big brother—Trail One-Pedal Driving is introduced to the lineup for even greater control at low speeds.

Other new changes for the Bronco Sport in 2025 include the addition of Bronco Bolts, which will allow more versatility to attach accessories for off-roading and overlanding. The front and rear bumpers feature new accessory attachment points as well, and upper-level trims like the Bronco Sport Badlands include accessory tie-downs integrated into the front fenders. Inside, you’ll find a few extra touches, including available grab handles mounted to the center tray for when the trail gets extra hairy.

Upgraded Tech

The 2025 Bronco Sport upgrades infotainment in a big way—a massive 13.2-inch center touch screen display is now standard across all trims, replacing the 8-inch screen found in previous models. It also runs the latest SYNC® 4 software, which guarantees greater responsiveness and smoother transitions between applications.

It also comes with a 12.3-inch digital driver information cluster, which is reconfigurable and displays animations when G.O.A.T. Modes are activated. An accessory tray behind the infotainment screen is available as well, complete with two built-in USB-C outlets.

Extra safety features have been implemented, with Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist+ now standard. Driver assistance features include:

  • Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go and Lane Centering
  • Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking (includes Pedestrian Detection, Forward Collision Warning, and Dynamic Brake Support)
  • BLIS (Blind Spot Information System) with Cross-Traffic Alert
  • Lane-Keeping System (includes Lane-Keeping Assist, Lane-Keeping Alert, and Driver Alert)
  • Evasive Steering Assist
  • Rear View Camera w/ Rear Parking Sensors
  • Auto High Beam Headlamps

Co-Pilot350 Assist 2.0 is also available on the Outer Banks trim and standard on Badlands. This upgraded package adds 360-degree Camera (w/ Split View), Reverse Brake Assist, and Speed Sign Recognition.
